Letter, 1877.

Handwritten and signed letters. One of the letters is addressed to Colonel Graham and was written at Khartoum on Oct. 15, 1877. In this item Gordon gives a superficial account of his arrival and duties in Khartoum in answer to a letter he received from Graham. The other letter is not dated and is unclearly addressed. It is in response to a letter received and gives an apology for not being able to provide information.
